Sunday October 3rd (The northern most part of Sonora Desert)

Salmon Arm to Brookside (near Cache Creek)
120 miles
Well we dewinterized  Cassie today, empty the antifreeze out of the water pipes, and added fresh water to the tank. So we believe we are in the warm climate for awhile now.
As we were dewinterizing  Ross and Carmen were winterizing their 5th wheeler across the street from us in the campground. Today we saw a couple of the freight trains like the ones that Ross drives, and they seem as if they are never ending.

Well what a change in scenery, we could have been in Arizona today as we drove into the northern most part of the Sonora Desert. We are camping in a small but busy campground near Cache Creek on Canada’s Hiway 1. The temperature at the deck of the camp ground office showed 100 degrees F. On our way here we did our 1st Costco run of the trip at Kamloops, bought some food and got the lunch samples. It always some what concerning driving into unfamiliar parking lots I am thinking I sure hope there is somewhere to park here that I can get out of, this parking lot was as crowded as any parking lot I am seen, I was thinking do we really need to go shopping today.
