Stovepipe Wells Campground to Sunset Campground Furnace Creek

Well last night we decided that it would be nice to go back to Furnace Creek, as there was a couple of things we really wanted to do there. One was to go for a swim in the pool at the motel across the street from where we camped at Sunset, there is a warm water mineral pool and we just had to go for a swim in the dessert while we were in Death Valley. We also wanted to listen to another night of live music in the camp put on by members of the 49’s. We had really enjoyed the people we met at Sunset very friendly group of people. This year would be the Death Valley 49’ers 61^st encampment.

We were at Sunset camp with the folks that get here really early. Apparently 1000’s of motor homes and people come for the encampment and is held from November 7^th thru 14^th.
